ESTABLISHMENT

JFES was established in 1994 as a Japan chapter of SPWLA (Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts).

In 2003, Japan Chapter was named Japan Formation Evaluation Society(JFES).

ACTIVITIES

“Chapter Meetings” and “Annual Symposium” are main activity of JFES.

In these meetings, wide range of talk not only pure petrophysics but also other theme like geothermal, scientific drilling, geophysics, dynamic simulation, and geomechanics is provided.

We hold Quarterly Chapter meeting since establishment.
